Way out West in Queensland!
I’m just back from an epic 6-day tour of south-western Queensland with the Society of Women Writers Queensland who were doing a series of workshops that took in Roma, Mitchell, Charleville, and St. George. Lots of time on the road, some great training sessions with talented and enthusiastic locals, and a great deal of excellent fellowship with my colleagues. What could be better?
Because the trip really was a whirlwind, I didn’t get a lot of time to sight-see, although I saw enough to recognize that I want to go back soon and take my time. I did get the chance to take some atmospheric shots of the Warrego River at Charleville and beautiful Wallam Creek near Bollon.
I thought you might like to see some of the pictures. It’s definitely a very Australian post this month!
